Event : World Pan-Amateur Kickboxing Association World Championships - Loutraki, Greece. - May 2006.

Accomodation - Poseidon Resort - Loutraki.

What can I say, other than fabulous! This not only was a very special trip for Lauren as it was her first ever World Championship, the Hotel resort and the weather was second to none. The resort offered a great outdoor swimming pool with a great view of the bay in which the tide never seemed to alter. The staff here were fabulous, children in Greece are treated like gods ! The staff at the resort were very friendly and even the local business community in Loutraki took the opportunity to give small gifts to my two children when they would visit a shop. Just a point ot note though, some of the hotel accommodation was set upon a steep incline, however when unloading your bags, staff were on hand to help you take the cases to your rooms in a truck. The food was fantastic.

The town is a short taxi ride away and in 2006 it cost about 7 Euros to get there. Otherwise its about a 20 minute walk.
